Father of all, O Lord have mercy,
Saviour of all, O Lord have mercy
Spirit of all, have mercy on us,
Spirit of all, be ever near us
Glory, glory, sing his glory, glory to our God on high
You broke the reign of death, O Lord and
you have made life shine forth again, alleluia
You broke the reign of death, O Lord and
you have made life shine forth again, alleluia
You satisfy the hungry heart with gift of finest wheat
Come give to us, O saving Lord, the bread of life to eat
Christ has died, alleluia, Christ is risen, alleluia
Christ will come again, alleluia, alleluia

Eighty people went to Butlin's yesterday and had a most enjoyable day. Many thanks to all who organised it and who took part.

If we cannot travel to Whithorn today, we should join in prayer with them for God's blessing on our Parish, Diocese and country, in the name of Saint Ninian.

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA)
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the Church's blueprint for implementing the Second Vatican Council and emphasises the need for every Christian to recognise his or her Ministry in the community as we all journey together on our way to the Father with Christ as our leader and guide.

SUNDAY LITURGY FOR YOUNG CHILDREN
The Sunday Liturgy for three to five and a half year olds begins at the 9.30 Mass today.

FIRST COMMUNION
We had a very good attendance at the meeting of parents who are invited to take part in the preparation of their children for First Confession and Communion. The children will come to the Hall every second Saturday and parents will meet monthly beginning in September. Some ten people from the Parish will be catechists or guides for the children. The school will continue to play its indispensable part. The Parish community will benefit from this approach. Please pray that God will bless this work.

SISTERS OF MISERICORDE
You are invited to a special Mass in the Church of Saint John Ogilvie, Bourtreehill, Irvine on Thursday 15 September at 7.00 pm to recognise the work of the Sisters in the Diocese. You will know that, regrettably, they are returning to France at the end of September. Please put your name on list in Church Porch if you wish to go. If numbers are sufficient, a bus will be arranged. Tea is available after Mass for adults only. Children are welcome at the Mass but the capacity of the hall dictates this latter arrangement.

GOOD AS NEW
The Towns of Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenston (TASS) Community Shop in Vernon Street, Saltcoats will be run for Church Funds on Thursday 1, Friday 2 and Saturday 3 September. Please support it.

WASTE PAPER
Beginning next week, waste paper will be collected for Church Funds. If you bring it to Church on Sunday, it will be received. Saint Peter's School has very kindly agreed to help.
