The Sacrament of Forgiveness is available at any suitable time as well as from 4.30 pm before the Vigil Mass on Saturday evenings.

FINANCES
Bankers Orders the Parish and Parish Centre amount to £3800 per month. Every month, we pay off our Parish Centre debt by £3000 and pay a levy of £1450 to the Diocese. We are grateful for your generous support in collections. If you can manage a little more from time to time, it would be a great help. Have you thought of using a Bankers Order? It assists us with the safe handling of cash. Banker's Orders for the Parish and Centre amount to an average of £3800 per month. Forms are available. Would you consider remembering Saint Peter's in your will?

OFFERTORY COLLECTION
Last weekend's Offertory collection amounted to £604.22 - many thanks.

PARISH CENTRE COLLECTION
Last weekend's collection for the Parish Centre amounted to
£275.57 - many thanks.

CHURCH REPAIRS
The help you give for Church repairs by dropping in a white envelope from time to time is invaluable. We have a continuing task in keeping the Church wind and watertight.

GIFT AID
The Inland Revenue now requires us to use a new style of Gift Aid form. These are available at the back of the Church. If you pay tax, please complete the new form and return it to the box provided. This allows us to provide the additional information required on the Gift Aid claim. Gift Aid is a vital source of income. All that is needed is that you pay tax. You simply declare that you give funds to the Church. We do the rest. Why not sign a form today? We get back an extra 25p for every £1 you give the Church in your weekly collection or by way of a donation. There is no need to cancel or renew it. We simply claim in the income we receive.

READERS
Next weekend's readers are Katrina Pollock at 5.30 pm and Tom Reid at 10.30 am.

ALTAR SERVERS
Next weekend's altar servers are Group 2 at 5.30 pm and Group 3 at 10.30 am.

SUNDAY TEAS
Next Sunday's teas will be served by Annie Thompson's team.

CHILDREN'S LITURGY
Next Sunday's Children's Liturgy helpers are Elissa Millar and Kimberley Boyd for the pre-5s and Michelle Morton, Elaine Shaw and Maria Paterson for primaries 1, 2 and 3.

MINISTRIES AND SERVICE
We need to have more parishioners involved in the ordinary life of our parish. There are Ministries and Service to be fulfilled - Readers, Ministers of Holy Communion in Church and to the sick; laundering the Altar linen, assisting with the collection and assisting people to seats. Please don’t just think someone else will do it. You will find a fill-in sheet at the back of the Church. Please fill it in and drop it in the collection as soon as possible. Thanks.

CANON MATT
Canon Matt will be away from Tuesday 18 to Friday 28 June for the baptism of Joseph, grandson of Matt and Mary who are celebrating their Golden Wedding, a Memorial Mass for a still-born little girl whose mother is my cousin and the wedding of cousin Michael and Kirsten, all in California. Dom Charles will be here to 'hold the fort'.

SPECIAL RELIGIOUS DEVELOPMENT GROUP - SPRED IN STEVENSTON
SPRED is a journey in faith and friendship with our parishioners who have learning difficulties. A group meets in Saint John’s Hall, Stevenston on a Wednesday evening from 7.00 to 9.00 pm. Volunteers are required for the continuing of this beautiful ministry. No experience is necessary as training will be given. Could you consider offering yourself during this Year of Faith?
