Bankers Orders for the parish and Parish Centre amount to £3800 per month. Every month, we pay a levy of £1450 to the Diocese. We are grateful for your generous support in collections. If you can manage a little more from time to time, it would be a great help. Have you thought of using a Bankers Order? It assists us with the safe handling of cash. Banker's Orders for the Parish and Centre amount to an average of £3800 per month. Forms are available. Would you consider remembering Saint Peter's in your will?

Last weekend's Offertory collection amounted to £664.55 - many thanks.

Last weekend's Maintenance Fund collection amounted to £244.66 - many thanks.

The Inland Revenue now requires us to use a new style of Gift Aid form. These are available at the back of the Church and on the parish website. If you pay tax, please complete the new form and return it to the box provided. This allows us to provide the additional information required on the Gift Aid claim. Gift Aid is a vital source of income. All that is needed is that you pay tax. You simply declare that you give funds to the Church. We do the rest. Why not sign a form today? We get back an extra 25p for every £1 you give the Church in your weekly collection or by way of a donation. There is no need to cancel or renew it. We simply claim in the income we receive.

New collection envelopes are now available at the stall. Please let us know if you wish to switch to a standing order. Forms are available.

Next weekend's readers are Marade Griffin at 5.30 pm and Tom Reid at 10.30 am. Next weekend's altar servers are Aidan and Calum at 5.30 pm and Group 2 at 10.30 am.

Next Sunday's teas will be served by Fiona Brown’s team.

The Children's Liturgy is celebrated during the 10.30 am Mass each Sunday. All children are welcome. Our new Bishop is Father William Nolan currently Parish Priest of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, East Kilbride. His ordination will take place on Saturday 14 February 2015 in the Grand Hall, Kilmarnock at 11.00 am. None of our Churches is big enough. We will try to organise a bus. We have been asked to give an indication of how many places we might need so there is a list at the Stall. This is not a bus list nor a firm booking list. It is just to have an indication so that places can be reserved.

Singers are invited to join the Diocesan Choir for the Bishop-Elect's ordination. Rehearsals are on Wednesday and some Sunday evenings from 7 January in the Saint Margaret's Cathedral, Ayr. Please contact David Robinson on 07714 340854.

As in past years, there will be a Christmas Card for parishioners to send greetings to friends and fellow-parishioners. All we ask is that you 'sign-up' at the Stall with your name and greetings and give a donation to the Church Maintenance Fund and to cover printing costs.

Memoriam Candles are now available at the Stall. There is also a lovely selection to Christmas cards, calendars and gifts. The Stall is open before and after each Mass.

If you are happy for me to have your email address, would you send us an email to Office@SaintPeterInChains.net? Just say hello and who you are. Postal address and phone would be useful as well. All our data is protected by the Data Protection Act and will not be divulged to anyone else.
