FINANCES
Bankers Orders for the Parish and Parish Centre amount to £3800 per month. Every month, we pay a levy of £1450 to the Diocese. We are grateful for your generous support in collections. If you can manage a little more from time to time, it would be a great help. A Standing Order would make the handling of money so much easier. Have you signed a Gift Aid form? If you are a taxpayer the Church would get 25p added to every £1 you donate.

COLLECTIONS
Last weekend's Offertory collection amounted to £610.14 and the Maintenance Fund collection to £280.94 - many thanks.

GIFT AID
The Inland Revenue now requires us to use a new style of Gift Aid form. These are available at the back of the Church and on the parish website. If you pay tax, please complete the new form and return it to the box provided. This allows us to provide the additional information required on the Gift Aid claim. Gift Aid is a vital source of income. All that is needed is that you pay tax. You simply declare that you give funds to the Church. We do the rest. Why not sign a form today? We get back an extra 25p for every £1 you give the Church in your weekly collection or by way of a donation. There is no need to cancel or renew it. We simply claim in the income we receive.

PARISH RECORDS
Our parish records are covered by the Data Protection Act and are for parish use only. We cannot give out phone numbers or addresses. Please help us to keep our records up to date using the cards provided.

LOURDES HELPERS 2017 DROP-IN INFORMATION SESSION
Galloway Lourdes Hospitalité is holding their first sign-up session for adult volunteers who are able to work with our assisted pilgrims in Lourdes in July 2017. We are looking for doctors, nurses and medical assistants. Also required are general male and female helpers. Would you like to find out more about this opportunity? Please come along to the sign-up session by dropping-in on Sunday 24 April at Saint Joseph's Hall, Kilmarnock, between 3.00 and 5.00 pm to meet team members and find out more. Contact Suzy Hollywood, President, for further information on suzydpn@aol.com or 07788 150202.

RAINBOWS AND BROWNIES - MONDAY NIGHT UNITS
The Rainbows and Brownies who meet on Monday night in the Parish Centre will be on holiday on Monday 21 March and the following three weeks during the Easter break. We return on Monday 18 April at the normal times.

CHURCH DOORS
Before another winter hits us, we need to replace the Church doors. The main doors swell badly in the rain and are impossible to open and shut properly. Because the Church is an A-Listed building, more durable replacement doors need to be specially made. This is being done but the total cost of main and side doors will be over £10000. I need to make an appeal to you for help. Brown envelopes will be available and any fundraising you can organise will be extremely useful. Extra in the second collection is a perfect way of helping. So far, donations total £515.

CATHEDRAL SUNG EVENING PRAYER FOR EASTERTIDE
Evening Prayer of the Church will be sung in Saint Margaret's Cathedral, Ayr on Sunday 17 April at 6.00 pm. You will be very welcome.
