200 CLUB
As previously announced, a 200 Club is being formed to help finance a Parish bus. We hope to get this Club 'off the ground' within the next month. What is it? The running of such a Club is fairly simple - two-hundred people promise to give a certain amount weekly. There will be a weekly draw for £10 and a quarterly draw for £200. Half the money collected will be given back as prize money and the other half will go to the bus fund. How do you join? Give your name as soon as possible to a member of a parish organisation such as Saint Anne's Guild, Saint Vincent de Paul Society and so on. What does it cost? 25p per week. This will be collected monthly in a special box placed in the Church Porch. Special envelopes will be issued to members.
