BANKER'S ORDERS, GIFT AID AND WILLS
Have you thought of using a Bankers Order? It assists us with the safe handling of cash. Have you signed a Gift Aid Form? If you pay tax, then every £1 you give to the Parish is worth £1.28 to us. Would you consider remembering Saint Peter's in your will? The recession is hitting everyone. Thanks for the support you manage to give the Parish.

HELP FOR THE SOLDIERS IN AFGHANISTAN
Father Stephen Sharkey, Padre of the Fourth Rifles in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, has written to thank us for the help we give to the soldiers by the parcels we send. We have now sent over a hundred shoe box parcels. We send sweets - no chocolate please, toiletries - no aerosols please, small tins of tuna and salmon, Supernoodles, cup-a-soup, biscuits and cakes and other odds and ends. We always include rosaries, medals, and so on. We will collect for a few weeks yet with a view to creating some Christmas parcels and are grateful for all you can donate in the box at the stall. Thanks.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY
As always, we are looking for more volunteers to be able to continue the Liturgy program. If your child is joining our Liturgy at any stage next year, please consider volunteering. If there are any sixteen or seventeen year olds that would consider volunteering, please contact Annie Watt or the Parish Office on 464063. Thank you.

PARISH REGISTRATION
We still do not have an up-to-date register of Parishioners - even those who come to Mass. Many of you have filled in the little green forms - thanks - and that is all you have to do. Some haven’t got round to it yet and we would be grateful if you would do it. The Parish website has a link for you to forward your name, address and phone number.

Immediately after Mass, there will be a Rosary Procession to the Lourdes Shrine where Bishop Perrier of Lourdes will give a reflection on the Lourdes Jubilee Year of 2008.

10.00 AM MASS
It is nice to have so many children at the Sunday 10.00 am Mass but we are getting the reputation of being the noisiest Church in the area. Can you help? Soft toys are better than tractors and taking a child out while he/she has their 'moment' would be good. In the old days, parents used to manage to keep 'prayer time' special. All I ask is that you do your best.

NEW ALTAR SERVERS
We are always glad to welcome new Altar Servers - just come along and try it on a Saturday evening or Sunday morning. You must be in Primary 5 or above.
