Each month we pay off our Parish Centre debt by £3000.

ask for a sacred host to bring to you in your seat.
BURNS
SUPPER
The
Burns
Supper will be held in the Parish Centre on Saturday 23 January 2010.
Patrons are asked to be seated by 7.20 pm for a prompt 7.30 pm start. George McGrattan
will chair the event. Ciaran Sinclair will pipe in the top table guests and haggis.
Canon Matt McManus will welcome and thank participants. Bill Andrew will recite
the Address To A Haggis. Bill Nolan, past president of Irvine Burns Club, will
deliver The Immortal Memory. Eric Allan, head teacher of Saint Matthew's Academy,
Saltcoats, will propose the Toast to the Lassies and Mary-Rose Martin, head teacher
of Ardrossan Academy will reply. Music will be provided by the folk group, A Pinch
o' Salt[coats] - Dusty Millar, Tommy Bingham and John Slavin. Catering will be
done by the Parish Centre team. More information on this and previous Burns
Suppers are on Saint Peter's website. A limited number of tickets
costing £10 is on sale at the Parish Office on 464063.
CROSSHOUSE
HOSPITAL
If you or a family member is going into Crosshouse Hospital and wishes
a visit from the hospital Chaplain, please let us know. The Chaplain is Father
Martin Chambers and his telephone number is 01563 533587. If you or a family member
is housebound, please let us know. Unless told, we don’t know about it.

WORLD'S LARGEST BIBLE
The entire text of the Bible incorporated into an
image of Michelangelo's Creation of Adam will be on display in the Parish Centre
over a weekend. The date will be notified.
CHILDREN’S LITURGY
The Children's
Liturgy is offered during the 10.00 am Mass. The group who offer this service
are always grateful to have new names on the rota. You must have disclosure before
you can take part and that is easily arranged. Please phone Michelle in the Parish
Office on 464063 on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday morning.

50/50 CLUB
Payment
is now due for all members. The cost is £15 annually in January. Sign-up
Sunday is this weekend in the foyer of the Parish Centre or via your Collectors.

MASS INTENTIONS
Almost 200 Masses were
requested for Catherine McEvoy, Bella Dougherty, Gerry Brown, and June Doherty.
All the Masses will be offered but most will be said by, and the offerings sent
to, priests on the Missions.

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER
The World Day Of Prayer is to
be held in the Church of the Nazarene, Glasgow Street, Ardrossan at 4.00 pm on
Friday 5 March. Mrs Jane Austin of the Church of the Nazarene has intimated a
United Bible Study Course which is open to all. The dates are Wednesday 27 January,
Wednesday 10 February and Wednesday 24 February at 7.30 pm. You would be made
very welcome - just turn up for a 7.30 pm start.
