Letters have gone out to our 96 pilgrims for the Papal Visit. Let us know

has arrived but they might come on Friday or Saturday. Rumour has it that
the bus might be a train! For the latest inofrmation, please check www.SaintPeterInChains
or phone the Parish Office.
MAGNIFICAT
Magnificat - The Mass/Prayer/Hymn Books for the Holy Father's visit have arrived
and there are plenty. They are for following the various services on televisioin
or in Bellahouston or Birmingham, and they contain prayers for the visit and
the words and music of the hymns. Please take one or two per family and if
possible take some for sick and housebound friends or family. There is no
charge, but the Bishops Conference has asked those who can to make a donation
of £2 to cover the costs of the visit. Please put your donation into
the second collection at Mass. We know what usually comes in so over the next
few weeks anything additional will be sent off.

PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS - MISSION STATEMENT

and well-being of each individual person within God's purpose for everyone.
It seeks to safeguard the welfare of people of all ages who are involved in
whatever capacity with
the Church and its organisations. As a Church community, we accept that it
is the responsibility of all of us, ordained, professed, paid and
