TOM McGREEVY
Tom McGreevy
has taken the decision to retire from his post of 'Wedding, Funeral and Saturday Night' Sacristan. He will be sorely missed and I am grateful to him for his long,
cheerful and very faithful service to the parish. Tom is one of many people who serve unseen - and keep me right about many things. He has promised to help out in any emergency and knowing me, there will be plenty. Among you is Tom’s replacement! Our sacristans get the altar ready for Mass, see to the hymn sheets, the vestments, and assist at weddings and funerals. Tom has done all this and more for us. Tom’s replacement will be on the same high salary. Please don’t all rush at once but everyone will be considered.

THANK YOU
Thanks to the Thursday’s Brownies and Guides for the donation of £481.32 raised at their recent Bingo Night.

PARISH LOURDES GROUP
Many thanks to all who supported our social event on Saturday, those who donated raffle prizes, gave a donation or helped in any way at all. Your help is appreciated. The sum raised came to £615, an excellent effort. Know that every pound raised goes into the Parish Group Fund to pay the fare for a sick pilgrim from the parish going to Lourdes next year. Thanks also to our committee members for their continuing efforts for the benefit of our parish community.
