SACRAMENT OF FORGIVENESS
The Sacrament of Forgiveness is available at any suitable time as well as from 4.30 pm before the Vigil Mass on Saturday evenings.

OFFERTORY COLLECTION
Last weekend's Offertory collection amounted to £734.61 - many thanks. We are grateful for your generous support of the parish and the diocese to which we pay a monthly levy of £1250.

Have you signed a Gift Aid Form? If you pay tax, then every £1 you give to the Parish is worth £1.28 to us. Forms are available.

CHILDREN'S LITURGY
Next Sunday's Children's Liturgy helpers are Helen Pengilley and Elaine Shaw for the pre-5s, Ann Cassidy and Emma Paterson for primaries 1 and 2, Kerry Scott and Michelle Morton for primary 3 and Frances Gemmell and Gayle Paterson for Primary 4. Our Liturgy is run by volunteers on a rota basis. We are in need of some new volunteers to help us in running the groups. This would be and ideal time to join as we are having an evening to apply for Disclosure for volunteers as mentioned below. If you are interested, please contact the Parish Office on 464063 and leave your name and number. Thanks.

BARONY SAINT JOHN’S CHURCH
Barony Saint John's Church will be using the Parish Centre for Sunday Worship until Sunday 18 December. We will have to do without the teas till then. Teas will resume after New Year. I hope you will make our guests very welcome.

CHURCH HEATING
The help you are giving to pay for the new boiler is very, very useful. The brown envelope donations of £20+ - and gift-aided if you can - is certainly easing the pain. Some fundraising by parish groups would be a great help. Brown envelope donations of £60 plus the proceeds from

CHRISTMAS CARDS AND CALENDARS
A lovely selection to Christmas cards and calendars is available at the Stall.

PILGRIMAGE TRUST RAFFLE
A Christmas Raffle will be held with all proceeds going to HCPT - The Pilgrimage Trust Group 207 and the Special Religious Education Group (SPRED). Tickets cost 25p each or £1 per strip are available at the stall.

PAPAL BLESSINGS
Papal Blessings for a wedding, wedding anniversary or a special birthday can be ordered at the stall. The cost of the parchment and postage is about £30. Please leave plenty of time.

50/50 CLUB
Renewals for the 50/50 Club are due in January for 2012. If you would like more information or to join please contact the promoter on 469006.

A SCOTTISH CELEBRATION OF SAINT ANDREW
Many thanks to all who took part in A Scottish Celebration of Saint Andrew. The estimated income is about £1000 - £881 plus bar - for our new heating system.


DANCE FOR PARISH FUNDS
There will be a Dance in the Parish Centre on Friday night 9 December for parish funds. It is arranged by a group of Barony Saint John's and Saint Peter’s friends who like dancing. Tickets cost £2 and it is a Bring Your Own Bottle event.

David and Margaret Munn wish to thank most sincerely Canon Matt, Reverend Sandy and all their friends for the overwhelming kindness and thoughtfulness shown to them and to their family - as well as to Carol - in the sad loss of Stephen. May God bless you all.

LARGE PRINT MASS BOOKS
Mass Books in Polish are available from the stall. Sunday Readings in most European languages can be printed from the parish website.

TOILETRIES FOR THE OZANAM CENTRE
The Saint Vincent de Paul Conference wishes to thank everyone who donated toiletries for the Ozanam Centre in Glasgow. These are being taken to the Centre to be distributed to the many homeless men and women who attend there. As in previous years, there was a most generous response to this appeal which is greatly appreciated. Thank you most sincerely for your help.

HILLHOUSE CARE FORMERLY THE INNOCENTS
Any baby items, prams, cots and so on, clothing for children from birth to sixteen years old or any goods that can be sold in the Hillhouse Care charity shop would be gratefully accepted. A box is available at the stall for small items and toiletries for baby and mother. Please phone Frank or Josephine Coulter on 602179 for more information or uplift of goods. Thank you.

ADVENT TALKS
The Advent Talks will be given at Smithstone House, Kilwinning on Wednesday afternoons 7 and 14 December. These are an ideal preparation for Christmas.

CAROL SERVICE
There will be a Carol Service in Smithstone House, Kilwinning on Sunday 18 December 2011 at 3.00 pm followed by tea, coffee and mince pies . All are welcome.

A CHOIRED TASTE
A Choired Taste, a Kilmarnock based choir, are bringing a Charity Concert of Christmas music to Saint Cuthbert’s Church, Saltcoats, on Sunday 4 December at 7.30 pm. Tickets, priced £5, are available from William Parker on 01294 471207 or, subject to availability, at the door on the evening of the concert.

VISITORS
Are you visiting us for Mass? Please know that you are very welcome. During the 10.00 am Mass there is a Children’s Liturgy provided for preschool children, children in Primaries 1 to 3 and a Sacramental Programme for children in Primary 4. After the 10.00 am Mass, tea, coffee cakes and buns are available in the Parish Centre. At all of our weekend Masses, we have a second collection for our Parish Centre debt.
