The Parish Centre
is behind the Church and is accessed externally on the left side of the Church.
There is also internal access from the Church.
Construction work started on 7 April 1997 and finished on 23 December 1997. The chief architect was Paddy Cronin of McMillan and Cronin, 24 Main Street, Largs, the firm that designed the most recent Presbytery. The main contractor was G Reid and Son Limited, 19 Ford Street, Catrine.
Bishop
Maurice Taylor formally opened the Parish Centre on 24 February 1998.
Subject
to the Letting Policy, the Parish Centre
can be hired for meetings and social functions. It is commonly used for christening,
wedding and funeral receptions, parish socials,
dances and birthday parties.
The Parish Centre manager from 2000 to 2007 was Gerry Brown. It is now managed
by his daughter-in-law, Fiona Brown.
