SUNDAY COLLECTION
Last weekend's collection amounted to £683.56. We are grateful for your generous support of the Parish. Banker's Orders amount to an average of £4400 per month.

BANKER'S ORDERS, GIFT AID AND WILLS
Have you thought of using a Bankers Order? It assists us with the safe handling of cash. Have you signed a Gift Aid Form? If you pay tax, then every £1 you give to the Parish is worth £1.28 to us. Would you consider remembering Saint Peter's in your will?

PARISH CENTRE COLLECTION
Last weekend's collection for the Parish Centre amounted to £306.95 - many thanks.

PARISH OFFICE
The Parish Office is normally staffed each weekday from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm. Outside of these times, there may be someone there or you can leave a message on 464063.

MASS LEAFLETS
Mass Leaflets are our way of providing you with the Sunday Readings and the music for Mass. You are welcome to take one home or to the housebound. If you are not doing so, we would be grateful if you would return the Mass leaflets to the boxes for use at a later Mass. Please try not to leave bulletins and leaflets on the seat. It makes you and the Church look untidy. Thanks.

CHILDREN'S LITURGY
If your children attend the Liturgy at any stage, would you consider helping the children? Due to children and parents moving up groups, we are still in need of volunteers to help with Children's Liturgy. If you are interested, please add your name to the list on the notice board at the back of the Church or contact the Parish Office on 464063 with your details for gaining disclosure.

CANCER CARE
The North Ayrshire Cancer Care Autumn Fayre will be held on Saturday 18 October at 10.30 am in St Mary's Church Hall, Saltcoats. All are welcome.

OUR DAY BY DAY
Our Day By Day is a little monthly booklet of scripture readings and thought for each day. You could find it invaluable. The October issue is complimentary. If you would like to subscribe, please put your name on the list at the stall. We could make it available at £15 per yearly subscription or £1.50 per month.

MAGNIFICAT
Magnificat is another monthly booklet. The November issue is complimentary and would be ideal for anyone who is housebound.

RACE NIGHT
A Race Night will be held on 14 November. A replacement carpet in the Church depends on it.
Tickets, costing £2.50, are now on sale. Sponsorship forms are circulating. For further information or to purchase tickets please phone the Parish Office on 464063.

FATHER JOHN
There will be a car treasure hunt on Sunday 26 October at 1.00 pm from Saint Peter's car park. The cost is £5 per car. For more details, contact Kathleen Quinn. There will be a Tanzanian Auction on Wednesday 29 October at 7.30 pm in Saint Peter's Parish Centre with free entry. Please bring an item - your trash is our treasure! Tea and coffee will be available and there will be a raffle. Both events to raise funds for the work Father John started in East Africa. Already we have paid school fees for some of his students. We welcome your support at these events.

TANZANIA PRESENTATION
Alison Montgomery will give a presentation with slides of her trip to Tanzania and her meeting with
Father John on Wednesday 15 October at 7.30 pm in the Parish Centre. All are welcome.

SPEED LIMIT
Please observe the 5 miles per hour speed limit in the car park. We must ensure the safety of everyone
.

PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS - MISSION STATEMENT
The Catholic Church in Scotland is concerned with the lives, safety, wholeness and well-being of each individual person within God's purpose for everyone. It seeks to safeguard the welfare of people of all ages who are involved in whatever capacity with the Church and its organisations. As a Church community, we accept that it is the responsibility of all of us, ordained, professed, paid and voluntary members, to work together to prevent the
physical, sexual, emotional abuse or neglect of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
